Maybe you’ve tried traditional counselling before—or maybe you haven’t. But the idea of sitting in a quiet room, face-to-face with someone you don’t yet know, might feel overwhelming or even anxiety-inducing. At Breathe, I understand that pressure—and I offer a different path.

Walk and Talk Therapy is a gentle, yet powerful alternative. Research shows that walking side by side, rather than sitting across from someone, can ease the intensity of traditional therapy settings. It naturally reduces the pressure of eye contact and allows conversations to flow more freely. Even more compelling, studies consistently highlight the therapeutic benefits of being outdoors: nature has a calming effect on the mind, lowers stress levels, and boosts emotional well-being.

Whether you’re an experienced hiker or someone who prefers a slow, steady stroll, Walk and Talk Therapy is accessible to you. Your sessions are thoughtfully tailored to your pace, your needs, and your comfort level—because therapy should meet you where you are, both emotionally and physically.

We can then arrange a brief introductory conversation—up to 15 minutes—giving us the chance to meet and for you to ask any questions you may have.
Following this introduction, if we both feel it's a good fit and I believe I can support your needs, we’ll discuss the details and number of sessions recommended.

In your first full one-hour session, we’ll explore in more depth what has brought you to counselling, what you hope to gain from our work together..

COUNSELLING SESSIONS - £45 (1 hour)

If cost is a barrier to you accessing counselling, I can operate a sliding scale. This is based on circumstances and affordability. Please contact me directly to see if this is an option for you.

You are also able to purchase a block of 6 sessions at a reduced fee - £225.

Please note: All sessions must be paid in advance of the session via bank transfer.

Immersive Walks

If you are interested in this truly rewarding experience, please make contact where I will be able to give you a brief overview of the the structure of the walk. We will also agree an agreeable time and date for both for the walk to take place
